Wavecrest Resort is
located on the lush east end of Molokai. While the west end of Molokai has seen the closing of
a resort and a golf course giving the neighboring condos views of an overgrown golf course and deteriorating
buildings, the east end continues to be a lush tropical paradise and Wavecrest is right in the middle of it all.
Offshore from Wavecrest is a 20-mile barrier reef. Just beyond
it whales are continually visible in the winter months. Kayaking off the Wavecrest oceanfront
is popular all year with sea turtles and reef fish always around even when the whales are not.
Wavecrest Resort is known for its lush
tropical gardens on the grounds. There are only 120 units making the resort always feel uncrowded.
Wavecrest is the only resort on Molokai
with an enclosed cabana handy for barbequing (it includes gas grills) and using the inside oceanview tables to entertain
guests when you don't want to use the lanai or dining area at C-311.
The pool was recently retiled. The tennis courts have been resurfaced
and there is a shuffleboard court.
Wavecrest
is the only resort on Molokai with free Wi-Fi thoughout the complex.
